Classic cars captivate me. I vividly recall my parents’ gold-toned 1960 Plymouth Fury with upright tail fins, wide chrome grille, and oh-so-cool push-button automatic transmission. It was the car that turned me into a car nerd, igniting a lifelong passion.
Where the rubber meets the road, at least for this artist, is in the sheer audacity of a generation of automotive designers who never dumbed down their work for the bottom line. Their designs quickened the pulse and uplifted the souls of all called to the open road.
